Dare To Be KingBoys Mentoring Group
This program runs all year round.
The Dare To Be King program gives boys a chance to participate in REAL TALK with adults about issues and concerns that teen boys face.
Target Group is boys 5th – 9th grade.
The curriculum encourages boys to pattern their lives after Martin Luther King Jr., daring them to be the next "king", and make history by the way they live their life and what they give to their community.
This group is also part of the TIPPING POINT INITATIVE, which is a money incentive based program that rewards students who meet predetermined criteria, one of which is not to become a teen parent.

Girls Mentoring Group
This program runs all year round.
The Dare To Be Queen program gives girls a chance to participate in REAL TALK with adults about issues and concerns that teen girls face.
Target Group is girls 5th – 9th grade.
The curriculum encourages girls to see themselves as QUEENS in the community.
This group is also part of the TIPPING POINT INITIATIVE, which is a money incentive based program that rewards students who meet predetermined criteria, one of which is not to become a teen parent. | |
